Mars Essex Horse Trials

We wanted to let you know how sad we are to have to cancel the 2020 MARS Essex Horse Trials. We considered various ways where we might be able to proceed with all the restrictions required by the state and the USEF, but none of them made us completely comfortable. Essex is a big community event, hosting 300 competitors, 182 volunteers and nearly 5,000 spectators. While we are anxious to serve our beneficiary, the Greater Newark LifeCamp, the safety and well-being of all concerned is a top priority. Therefore, we will need to postpone the event until 2021.
